Case study

Large Stucco Home Exterior Package

Stucco washed, cracks repaired and texture-matched, then finished in soft white with dark bronze fascia.

Completed Phoenix stucco home in soft white with dark bronze fascia and stone accents

The challenge

A large two-storey stucco home with hairline cracking across the sun-facing elevations and failed caulk at several window perimeters.

The owners wanted a soft white body, which shows every unrepaired defect and every mismatched patch.

Scope of work

  • Full exterior wash
  • Stucco crack routing, filling and texture matching
  • Chip, edge and penetration repair
  • Joint and window-perimeter sealing
  • Soft white body with dark bronze fascia and trim

Surface preparation

  • Envelope walked and photographed, crack patterns mapped by elevation so the repair scope reflected real conditions.
  • Full wash and dry-out before any repair work started.
  • Cracks opened out so filler had a body to key into, then filled and finished to match the surrounding stucco texture.
  • Control joints, window and door perimeters and material transitions sealed with an exterior-grade sealant.

Coating and finish system

  • Primer applied to bare stucco and all repaired areas.
  • Soft white body colour applied at the manufacturer's spread rate, working around the building with the shade.
  • Fascia, eaves and trim finished in dark bronze to define the roofline against the light body colour.

Scheduling considerations

Ladders and staging repositioned by elevation across the programme; work started early in the day on the sun-loaded walls.

Landscaping, stone accents, glazing and lighting masked before spraying.

The result

An even soft white field across two storeys with no visible patching, and a defined bronze roofline.

The sealing work is the part that will not be visible and is the reason the finish should hold through storm seasons.
