Residential Painting
Interior and exterior painting for occupied Valley homes, with the protection and daily clean-up that living in the house requires.
Central Valley · Arizona
LOBOS Fine Finishes is based in Phoenix, and it is where most of our work happens. Interior and exterior repaints, cabinet refinishing, stucco crack repair, fine finishes and commercial work, right across the city, from 1950s block ranch homes in the central corridor to newer stucco builds on the north and south edges.
Phoenix is not one housing stock, which matters when you're quoting a paint job. A post-war block home in Willo needs a different exterior scope to a 2005 two-storey stucco house in Desert Ridge, and the honest way to price either is to look at the walls.

Painting in Phoenix
Housing stock, exposure and community rules differ meaningfully across the Valley, and they change how a job gets scoped. Here’s what shapes the work in this city.
Central and south Phoenix carry a lot of painted masonry block from the 1950s through the 1970s. North and far-west Phoenix are mostly stucco from the 1990s onward. Block needs different priming and patching decisions to stucco, and confusing the two is how an exterior repaint fails early.
Willo, Encanto-Palmcroft, Coronado and the other historic districts have wood windows, exposed rafter tails, decorative trim and original doors. That is hand-work, not spray-and-go, and it is a large part of why we do wood refinishing alongside painting.
Phoenix lots are laid out on a grid, so a very large number of homes present a long, unshaded west elevation to the afternoon sun. That elevation almost always needs more repair than the rest of the house, and it is the one we schedule earliest in the day in summer.
Storefronts, restaurants, offices and multi-unit buildings along the central corridor, Camelback, Bell Road and the airport-area industrial parks. Occupied-property scheduling is the norm here. Most of that work happens at night or in phases.
Not on the list? We cover Phoenixas a whole. These are simply the areas we’re asked for most often.
Services
Ordered by what we actually get asked for here. Every other service we offer is available in Phoenix too.

Interior and exterior painting for occupied Valley homes, with the protection and daily clean-up that living in the house requires.

Stucco, block, siding, fascia and garage doors, washed, patched and primed before a drop of colour goes on.

Walls, ceilings, crown, baseboards and doors, masked properly, cut clean, and cleaned up the same day.

Doors numbered, removed and sprayed flat for an even finish. A kitchen transformation without new boxes.

Cracks opened, filled and texture-matched before coating, so the repair doesn't reappear next monsoon season.

Storefronts, offices, restaurants and tenant improvements painted around your operating hours, including nights.

Lime and marble dust built in thin coats, then burnished until the wall reads as stone rather than paint.

Seamless cement-based coating a few millimetres thick, over floors, walls and showers, with no grout lines anywhere.

Moroccan lime plaster burnished with stone and sealed with olive soap. Waterproof without a film, seamless around every curve.

Questions
Yes. LOBOS Fine Finishes is a Phoenix-based painting contractor, and Phoenix is our primary service area. That means shorter travel, easier walkthrough scheduling, and no mobilisation surcharge for being on the far side of the Valley.
Regularly. Painted masonry block behaves differently to stucco. It takes priming decisions and patching decisions of its own, and previous coatings on a 60-year-old wall may need more remediation than a repaint of a newer house.
We look at the actual wall before quoting, which is the only way to price that fairly.
Call or text 480-797-0842 and we'll get a walkthrough on the calendar. Because we're based in the city, Phoenix walkthroughs are the easiest ones for us to fit in.
Yes. Many Phoenix communities require an approved exterior scheme before work begins. We'll work from your approved submittal, and we can prepare what a design-review committee typically asks for if you are proposing a new scheme.
